Our Projects

Philly Bike Action is happy to support and facilitate projects that align with our mission!

The project application process is how we ensure activities operating under the PBA name are well coordinated and have an accountable volunteer taking responsibility.

Projects can be big or small! If you think PBA should do something, take ownership and apply to be a Project Lead!

Example projects include:

• Petitions for new or improved bike lanes
• Organized engagement with City Council
• Bike lane cleanups and group rides
• Direct action demonstrations
• Community events

Project Leaders must submit an application with a thoughtful plan and a clear end-goal. The application will be reviewed by the Board.

If your project is accepted, we will share helpful how-to documents to get you started using PBA resources.

However, you will be responsible for organizing the project until its completion.

We encourage you to proactively ask for help and guidance from experienced PBA Organizers to ensure the project follows PBA processes and quality standards.
