Board of Directors

The Board of Directors democratically represents PBA Members within each of the City Council districts where PBA is currently active.

Our Board is 100% comprised of volunteers. Each year, PBA Members elect District Board representatives from our base of Organizers and Members. The Board then appoints Officers to fill designated roles.

The purpose of the Board is to operate the legal entity of PBA and focus on strategic planning and organizational governance to support PBA's stated mission. However, all PBA initiatives are fundamentally driven by PBA Organizers and Members (see Our Structure).
