Report obstructions

What can you do when a bike lane is blocked? Use the following resources!

Philadelphia Parking Authority

The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) provides parking enforcement in Center City, University City, and all neighborhood commercial areas.

If a vehicle is obstructing the bike lane or a sidewalk, this agency is your best bet at getting enforcement. To request enforcement, call their hotline at 215-683-9773.

Use the PPA's online form to report other mobility access violations.

Philadelphia Police Department

The City of Philadelphia's Police Department enforces parking violations everywhere that PPA does not. There is no non-emergency contact number in Philadelphia, so you must call or text 911.

311

If the issue is not related to a parked car, submit a service request by calling 311 or submitting a ticket online.

Get friends and neighbors to make the same report to increase chances of it being addressed. Elevate unaddressed tickets to your City Council member.
