Our Teams
Our volunteer teams provide critical support to the organization by responding online to our day-in-day-out needs. We always need more contributors!
How it works: Team volunteers need to be active on our Discord in order to contribute. Teams are pinged when their services are requested. Any member of the team can respond to the volunteer opportunity if they have the time and interest to do so!
Tech Team
This team develops our website backend, email blast technology, useful Discord bots, and other custom tools that support our organization and projects.
Python and Django skills especially useful to contribute to our Github!

Graphic Design
Design fliers, posters, and social media graphics for our events and campaigns! Team members will have access to our Canva tools.

Copy Editing
This team reviews and polishes our communications like press releases, campaign messages, and other written materials; ensuring that our messages are always clear and engaging.

Press
This team keeps PBA in the news by managing our contact list, archiving past media coverage, writing media advisories, and responding to press inquiries.

Outreach
Cycling is for everyone—and we want to spread the message of safe infrastructure all over Philadelphia through community outreach!
Outreach includes things like tabling at community events, group ride support, street clean ups and other event collaborations, as well as relationship building with other local organizations.
Groups this team works with may include seniors, parents, low-income residents, people of color, and historically disadvantaged communities.

Citywide Meetings
Our Citywide Meetings are public events where we share our vision, give campaign updates, and hear from guest speakers like City Council, OTIS, and the PPA.
Help us plan these valuable events - tasks include: online promotion, presentation prep, welcome desk, pizza, and setting up the projector and virtual stream.
