Philly Bike Action!

September 5 @ 5:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
RIDE WITH US: Concrete now, every block!
Philadelphia Museum of Art (front steps)

We're hitting the streets to ride for CONCRETE NOW, EVERY BLOCK on Spruce and Pine bike lanes!

Start: Art Museum steps, meet 5:45pm (rally), roll 6pm. End: City Hall (North). Route: Easy, 30-40 mins.

Last year, hundreds of us took to the streets to demand action in the aftermath of the preventable deaths of Dr. Barbara Friedes and Christopher Cabrera.

Since then, Mayor Parker promised to protect the Spruce and Pine bike lanes, but that promise is in jeopardy.

An internal city memo has revealed a recommendation to install concrete curb protection on ONLY HALF of the Spruce and Pine bike lanes—compromising everyone’s safety for the convenience of a vocal minority.

Tell City leaders to finish the job. No half measures.

Paint is not protection! Concrete now!

Bring signs or show up early to make one with our supplies!

Indego stations are available near start and end points. Art Museum easy to get to from Schuylkill River Trail.

RSVP optional, help us estimate attendance!
